France’s Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad and Francophone Yamina Benguigui arrived Thursday in Algeria to prepare for the French President Francois Hollande’s scheduled visit before the end of the year. The meeting between Hollande and Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika will be beneficial for the two countries, Benguigui told reporters upon her arrival. She met with Algerian Minister Delegate for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel, while she is due to meet with the new Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal on Saturday. Hollande agreed with Bouteflika after his victory to visit Algeria before the end of the year.
