French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius met on Monday with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov who is currently visiting France. Fabius and Lavrov discussed preparations for the Geneva II conference on the Syrian crisis which is scheduled to be held in January 22 in Switzerland, said the French Foreign Ministry spokesman Roman Nadal in press statements after the meeting. The two sides probed also regional issues such as the Iranian file as well as means of boosting investments between the two countries, Nadal added.
