French President François Hollande said on Sunday that French warplanes bombarded a Daesh-controlled camp in Deir el-Zor city in eastern Syria early in the day.

Speaking on the fringe of the UN General Assembly, Hollande said the French jet fighters hit their target successfully.

No causalities were reported, he noted.

Hollande vowed to launch more air strikes on Daesh terrorist group in the coming period.
