Representatives of more than 50 countries and international organization met here onTuesday to discuss ways of extending assistance to Syria after the fall of President Al-Assad's regime. The meeting comes within the framework of what is known as (Friends of Syria Group) that supports the Syrian opposition against Al-Assad. German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, who is hosting the talks, called on members of the Syrian opposition movement, represented at the meeting, to create conditions that would make it easier a for a transitional government to take power.
