Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani stated that GCC Foreign Ministers will hold a meeting with their Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat-General here on Wednesday. He said that the latest Syrian developments, including the Syrian Government\'s forces\' escalations and the newly-formed National Coalition, will be discussed. He added that the meeting is in line with GCC countries\' attempt to put an end to the sufferings of brotherly Syrian citizens and ensure a speedy transfer of power in order to stop the on-going bloodshed and help the Syrian people achieve its aspirations.
