Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani today received International Peace Institute (IPI) President Terje Rod-Larsen and discussed cooperation. Larsen outlined the plans lined up by the think tank to organise conferences and forums which focus on key political, security, economic and intellectual issues.
Dr. Al-Zayani hailed the efforts of the think tank, stressing the important role of international experts in studying the challenges which are confronting the volatile region. He affirmed the keenness of the GCC General Secretariat on benefiting from the studies which are conducted by specialized think tanks.
