Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdul Latif bin Rashid al Zayani discussed with US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller the latest developments in the Arab country.
The two sides probed also the efforts exerted to support Yemeni President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi to attain stability as well as security and achieve a peaceful political solution according to the Gulf initiative.
Al Zayani met also with Chinese Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng and discussed means of boosting commercial and economic cooperation between the GCC countries and China.
The GCC chief highlighted the depth of relations between the Gulf countries and China.
For his part, Gao Hucheng hailed the efforts exerted by the GCC at the regional and international levels.
Al Zayani also discussed with Korean President of Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) Shin Bong-kil means of promoting joint ties in the political and developmental fields as well as other issues of common interest.
