Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) welcomed on Sunday an invitation extended by US President Barack Obama to hold a spring summit at Camp David to discuss security cooperation in the region.
The Obama invitation comes after holding talks between US Secretary of State John Kerry and the Foreign Ministers of the GCC through video conference to discuss the recent developments of the Iran's nuclear program, according to a statement released by the general secretariat of the GCC.
During the talks, Kerry asserted that the US is keen on preserving the security of the GCC countries and boosting bilateral coordination, the statement added.
