Georgia's Ambassador to Egypt Archil Dzuliashvili condemned on Wednesday the assassination of Egyptian Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.

In a statement, the ambassador asserted support to efforts exerted in the fight against terror groups.

Barakat was assassinated when a booby-trapped car blew up targeting his motorcade while he just leaving his house on his way to work on Monday.
