Georgia's Embassy on Monday condemned Saturday's terrorist attack which targeted the Italian consulate in downtown Cairo, leaving one dead and several others injured.

In a statement released on Monday, the Georgian Embassy asserted its backing for Egypt in its war against terrorism.

The statement offered condolences to the family of the victim and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
