German troops began their mission in Mali in one of the camps of the European forces. In this context about 40 German paramedics began establishing a field hospital to care for sick and injured soldiers in the military zone in the city Koulikoro, which lies about 65 kilometers from the capital Bamako. The German news agency that about 40 other German soldiers will arrive next week to Koulikoro to train financial forces. The German parliament (Bundestag) has agreed to the German army’s participation in this mission for a period of 12 months.
