German Minister of Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier has called for positive response from the Libyan parties to the international peace plan floated by Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Mission in Tripoli Bernardino Leon.

During a visit to Cairo, the German top diplomat said Leon was engaged in several tours of the Mideast to reach a peace plan.

The current offer provides for an acceptable peace plan for all the Libyan parties, he added.

He advised all the Libyan sides to accept the helping hand offered by the international community.
