Germany's navy forces saved 121 illegal African migrants, 50 Kilometers off the Libyan coast, German army said in a statement on Friday.

Three women and three children were among those on board a boat sailing along 50 Kilometers off the Libyan shore, the statement added.

A German ship has delivered them to the Italian coast guards, according to the statement.

As many as 200 illegal immigrants have also been rescued on Wednesday by the German ship "Berlin".
