German parties reached agreement on coalition early Wednesday after long overnight negotiations, local media reported, citing insider sources. The agreement between center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD) and Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative bloc of Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and its Bavarian allies Christian Social Union (CSU) includes introducing nationwide minimum wage of 8.50 euros per hour, dual citizenship, highway tolls for foreign autos, reported German Press Agency (DPA). Both sides also agreed to increase government spending of 23 billion euros by 2017 while rejected tax increase from 2015.
