Germany has strongly condemned Syria’s attacks on the south-eastern town of Akcakale in Turkey that left five Turkish citizens dead and nine others Injured. Germany’s Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle expressed his deep sorrow and offered his condolences to his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu over a phone call late on Wednesday. He said the Syrian attacks are deemed a serious risk to Turkey’s sovereignty. The German Foreign Minister, called on Davutoglu, meantime, to contain the situation rationally taking the sensitive situation in the region into account. the
