Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the death of his mother.

The cable, which was conveyed by the Greek embassy in Cairo on Wednesday, said the Greek leader expressed sincere and deep sympathy with president Sisi over the tragic news of the death of his mother.

The president had received similar cables of condolences and telephone calls from world leaders over the death of his mother.
