The Gulf information ministers condemned the violations carried out by the militias of the Houthis and ousted Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh on the southern Saudi borders.

The militias shell the borders with ballistic missiles leaving many Saudi army personnel and civilians killed and injured.

These remarks came in a statement issued after the extraordinary meeting of the Gulf information ministers under Saudi Information Minister Adel al Toraifi.

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Latif bin Rashid al Zayani who read the statement following the get-together.
