Unidentified gunmen killed on Sunday 19 , Jan the Mhuktar of the Rashidiya area and wounded his son in northern Mosul. A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that "unidentified gunmen opened fire on the Mhuktar of Rashidiya area north of Mosul, killing him and wounded his son, who was with him."
