Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi discussed on Tuesday over the phone with British Minister for Middle East Affairs Tobias Elwood the recent developments and situation in Yemen, the state-run Yemeni news agency reported.

Over the phone call, the Yemeni leader hailed the supportive stances of the British government towards Yemen and its support to the Yemeni political process.

For his part, the British minister asserted that his country backs efforts that aim to bring about stability and security in Yemen and also stands by the legitimate president.
