Head of the Islamic Supreme Council, Ammar al-Hakim discussed with Qadhi Askar, representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the Hajj, ways to develop religious tourism between the two countries.A statement of the supreme council cited that "the two sides reviewed, during the meeting, the bilateral relationship between the two Muslim neighbors."The statement noted that "Askar praised the role of the Iraqi people to receive pilgrims to holy shrines in Iraq from all over the world."
