Ezz El Din al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas movement, said it has thwarted an Israeli espionage attempt off the Gaza shore, Palestinian sources said on Wednesday.

A group of Marine commandos of Ezz El Din al Qassam Brigades noticed two dolphins sailing in the Gaza coast to spot any dubious movement under the water, the sources added.

After haunting the two dolphins, specialists with Ezz El Din al Qassam Brigades found two remote control devices and surveillance cameras fixed on their backs.

The Israeli navy wanted targeting elements of the Marine commandos of Ezz El Din al Qassam during their naval exercises or keeping close tabs on them during the current period, according to the sources.
