Moussa Abu Marzouq, deputy chairman of the Politburo of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said Tuesday night his movement was ready for any scenario of the ongoing confrontation with the Israeli occupation. \"All options are on the table and Egypt continues its mediation effort,\" he said in a brief statement to KUNA amid conflicting reports about the success prospects of the mediation. Asked whether Israel responded to the truce the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire agreement, he said: \"the Egyptians know better and they have the answer.\" The ceasefire hangs in balance after Egyptian president Dr. Mohammad Morsi said earlier today he expects the Israeli aggression to end by midnight, noting that the results of the mediation would be announced in Cairo \"in the coming few hours.\" However, Israeli media reported tonight that the Israeli government has turned down all versions for a ceasefire deal with Gaza factions.
