The Higher Elections Commission (HEC) decided on Thursday to suspend the parliament elections as previously scheduled by the commission on February. In a press release, the HEC said it has suspended the elections after being briefed with the Administrative Court\'s rule that suspended the electoral process by referring the elections law to the Supreme Constitutional Court. On Wednesday, the administrative court has suspended a presidential decree inviting Egyptians to cast their votes in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The court ordered that the elections law be referred to the Supreme Constitutional Court.
