A Hezbollah delegation met Thursday with Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai at the latter’s summer residence in Diman, north Lebanon. The meeting was attended by Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad and Hezbollah politburo member Ghaleb Abu Zeinab. Media reports indicated that the purpose behind the meeting could be discussion of the planned visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Lebanon later this month.
