Cairo - MENA
Hundreds of voters lined up outside polling centers of the seventh and tenth districts of Nasr City and Sayyeda Zeinab to cast their votes amid tight security from police and armed forces. Most of the voters in Nasr City were women whose numbers started to increase after working hours. Also, polling stations in Sayyeda Zeinab saw high turnout of voters since the opening of ballot boxes at 9 a.m. (local time). Cheerful voters at the polling center of Mobtadeyan School were singing national songs and fingering the V-sign while queuing up waiting to vote. MENA correspondent noted that there were no violations like coaching voters or making propaganda outside polling stations like what happened in the referendum on the 2012 constitution.
