French President Francois Hollande met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Paris, reiterating France's support to the Middle East peace progress, French president's office said Friday. "The President of (French) Republic stressed the emergency of finding an agreed framework for negotiations before the deadline, based on long-term European and international parameters," said a statement published by the Elysee Palace. The statement reiterated France's commitment to supporting the creation of a viable and sovereign Palestinian state, and its willingness to help the country in construction of institutions. Hollande said France was ready to organize a donors' conference for Palestine in Paris so as to promote the political and economic process, according to the statement.
