French President Francois Hollande has praised an agreement reached with Egypt to sell 24 Rafale fighters to Egypt.
The deal is a bright success for the aviation industry in France and an example and hope for its economy, Holand said during a visit to Dassault Aviation manufacturer in Merignac in southwestern France.
Holande declined to give remarks about the countries which is planned to buy the fighters.
He commended a role played by the aviation industry in supporting the French economy.
