"Future" Parliamentary bloc member Ammar Houri said that postponing the elections due to technical reasons has become inevitable, saying it is clear that elections would not take place on schedule. Houri told "Free Lebanon" radio on Tuesday that two basic sects in Lebanon don't approve the Orthodox plan and the solution is in finding common points, adding that Speaker Nabih Berri is paving the way to find those common points. "Everybody considers that the solution is by adopting the hybrid system, and consultations are over proportionally distributing seats between Majority and proportionality systems," Houri said. " Hizballah's approach from the very beginning was not to have elections to keep the situation the same in order to serves the Syrian regime and Iranian targets in the region." He said March 14 takes pride in two constants, its democratic composition and the transparency it enjoys; saying that the disagreement over the election law would reach its end and would not lead to the collapse of March 14.
