Hundreds of Muslims from Hausa tribe in south Nigeria, where a majority of the population are Christians, have fled their houses in the wake of the recent explosions that took place in Kano city northern Nigeria which left scores of Muslims and Christians killed and injured. In statements on Wednesday, southern Anambra state relations director E. Tokomika said one of Hausa residents have fled their houses, noting that he has demanded them to stay home and not to feel afraid of any revenge attacks in the wake of suicide attacks in Kano city in northern Nigeria. Such attacks are common in Kano, the most populous state in northern Nigeria, which is home to a large number of Christians.
