The inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) visited Iran's Gachin yellow cake mine in southern country, local media reported on Thursday. No details were released and no comment was made about the Wednesday visit of the IAEA inspectors to Gachin. The inspection took place in line with implementing an agreement signed between head of the AEOI Ali-Akbar Salehi and the IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano in Tehran on November 11, 2013. IAEA inspectors also visited the Arak heavy water production plant on December 8, 2013 as a part of the agreement.
