The International Criminal Court (ICC) based in the Hague acquitted two prisoners charged with crimes in former Yugoslavia, due to lack of evidence supporting the charges, said media on Friday. A Serbian airplane carrying Jovica Stanisic, former Chief of the Serbian State Security Service, and Franko Simatovic, former commander of the service\'s Special Operations Unit, landed at Belgrade Airport today, after spending 10-years in prison for war crimes in former Yugoslavia, Serbian media added. The ICC found insufficient evidence for their involvement in directing, organizing, equipping, training, arming and financing units of the Serbian State Security Service which murdered, persecuted, deported and forcibly transferred non-Serb civilians from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, it pointed out.
