The illegal Israeli settlements and industrial clusters pose a threat to the Palestinian territories, especially in Tulkarem city, a Palestinian committee said on Thursday.
In a statement, Secretary-General of the Islamic-Christian Committee in Support of Jerusalem and Holy Sites Hanna Issa said that the Palestinian villages near Israeli settlements are forcibly used to bury hazardous materials and nuclear wastes of Israeli reactors.
"The Palestinian citizen is the only body who pays the price for such imminent danger," Issa said, calling upon the Israeli authorities to stop such malpractices.
