Indian Army chief General Bikram Singh on Tuesday embarked on a two-day visit to Myanmar, sources said. The Indian Army chief\'s tour is aimed at strengthening bilateral defense cooperation, which include manning the international border and training of the Myanmarese military, the sources said. During his visit, General Singh will hold meetings with the top leadership of Myanmar and visit various defense establishments across the South East Asian nation, they added. Apart from forging strong defense ties, India is involved in building roads and bridges in Myanmar.
