Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj left Cairo on Tuesday after a three-day visit to Egypt, during which he met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The Indian minister also met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and a number of senior officials.

She discussed means of boosting cooperation between the two countries.

The trade exchange between Egypt and India has hit 5 billion dollars yearly.

Several Indian companies have investments in Egypt worth three billion dollars. They mull over increasing their operations here.
