Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Russia in late November or early December for a Russian-Indian summit, a diplomatic source said Friday.
"Visits of India's foreign minister and defense minister are scheduled for October. They will participate in the work of intergovernmental commissions to prepare for the Russian-Indian summit," the source told RIA Novosti.
The source added that Modi's visit "is currently planned for late November, early December."
India is Russia’s largest military-technical partner, with an estimated $4.78 billion worth of weapons and military equipment, including nuclear submarines, jet fighters and battle tanks, purchased in 2013, according to Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
