The President of India Pranab Mukherjee Thursday laid the foundation stone for the Berhampore Military Station at Nabagram, in the eastern state of West Bengal. Speaking on the occasion, the President Mukherjee reiterated Indian Army’s commitment to serve the nation, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said today. The President hoped the Berhampore Military Station would continue this tradition. He also lauded the contributions of the Ministry of Defence, Indian Army and the Government of West Bengal for new military station, the PIB added.
