A plane operated by Indonesia\'s state-run Merpati Nusantara Airlines crash-landed at an airport in the country\'s eastern region Monday, but all 50 people on board were safe, an airline official said. Photos published by local online news websites showed the fuselage of the propeller-powered airplane broken and its nose wheels invisible at El Tari airport in Kupang, the capital of East Nusa Tenggara province, according to DPA. \"All passengers and the crew were safe,\" Merpati corporate secretary Herry Saptanto said.
