On Tuesday 15th January, Israeli occupation soldiers severely beat the 15 -year-old Palestinian, Salah al-Din Yacoub Sweedan, from the village of Azoun, east of Qalqiliya, then they arrested and transferred him to an unknown location. Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a press release that the Israeli soldiers also beat the boy\'s father until he lost consciousness, and was transferred to Dr. Darwish Hospital in Qalqiliya. Director of the Prisoners Society in the city, Lafi Nasoura, called on Physicians for Human Rights and the UN Follow-up Committee to investigate the crimes committed against the prisoners in Israeli jails, and immediately intervene to save the life of the boy Sweedan who was arrested and transferred to an unknown location.
