Iran’s FM Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham

Iran has condemned the latest wave of massacres carried out by the Boko Haram Takfiri militants in Nigeria, Press TV reported on Sunday.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Saturday offered the Islamic Republic’s sympathy to the bereaved families of victims of the brutal attacks and also the government of Nigeria.

Denouncing the spread of extremism and terrorism as a common threat to the world, she highlighted that all countries across the globe must make efforts to battle this inhumane phenomenon.

The Boko Haram militants have reportedly killed nearly 200 people in fresh attacks on homes and mosques across Nigeria over the past few days.
