Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis Al’aeddin Boroujerdi on Tuesday criticized Pakistan for failing to provide security of its joint borderlines with Iran, IRNA news agency reported. Despite signing a security agreement with Iran, Islamabad is not fulfilling its task regarding providing security in border areas, Boroujerdi said. He called on the Pakistani government to play a more active role in providing border security. On Monday, Iranian authorities announced murder of the assistant minister of industry in an attack launched by militants in Tehran.
