Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif met Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukio Amano in Vienna following a meeting between Iranian and US negotiators.

Details of the meeting have not yet been revealed but it seems it had focused on the outcome of Amano's recent visit to Tehran, IRNA news agency said.

Prior to the meeting, Amano had told reporters that the aim of his Tehran visit was to settle remaining issues and "in this concern, we have had progress but lots of work still remain."

Zarif and his US counterpart John Kerry are to resume negotiations soon.
