Iran's Navy Commander Admiral Habibollah Sayyari says his country's naval forces are ready to send units to the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, south of the Indian Ocean and the South Pole. Sayyari said on Monday that Iran’s Navy has the capability to extend its presence to the international waters in various locations in the world. "We have achieved the capability of designing and building advanced destroyers, such as Sahand, which we are fitting with modern equipment daily," Sayyari said. The remarks came at the 77th anniversary of the establishment of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College.
