Iran has reiterated its support for the Iraqi government in fighting militant attacks and its readiness to offer support and assistance, a press statement said Thursday following a meeting between Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Danaifar.During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and visits between officials and delegations as well as political and security conditions in the region.Zebari underlined the significance of the work of joint technical committees to solve the outstanding issues in relation to land and river borders, water, and the organization of mutual visits.
