Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will visit China on Thursday to attend a ministerial meeting at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart. On Friday, Araqchi will leave Beijing for Japan to attend a ministerial conference on nuclear safety, which will be held in Fukushima Prefecture from December 15 to 17, according to Iran's (Mehr) News Agency. Araqchi formerly served as Iran's ambassador to Tokyo.
