Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and nuclear negotiating team departed for Vienna on Monday morning to begin a new round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1. Zarif is accompanied by his deputies in legal and international affairs Abbas Araqchi, Europe and American affairs Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi, director general in political and international affairs Hamid Ba'eidinejad, as well as advisor to the FM Davoud Mohammadnia. Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) director general for safeguards affairs Mohammad Amiri, as well as representatives from the organization also accompany the foreign minister in this new round of talks, (IRNA) news agency reported. Iran and Group 5+1 are to start a new round of intensive, technical and complicated talks from Tuesday to reach a comprehensive and final agreement in Vienna. Zarif is heading Iranian delegation and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton is heading Group 5+1. The two sides reached an initial agreement on November 24 , 2013 in Geneva. In the new round of talks and upon Geneva joint action plan, the two sides are trying to achieve the final agreement.
