Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi left Tehran for the Omani Capital of Muscat on Wednesday to confer on the latest security developments in Yemen, according to Fars News Agency.
Sarmadi is slated to hold separate meetings with high-ranking Omani officials on the latest regional and international developments including the crisis in Yemen.
The Iranian official is scheduled to visit some other countries during his regional tour on the same concern.
