Iran's Parliament speaker Ali Larijani met here today with the visiting Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri . At a joint news conference following the meeting, Larijani explained that Iran has a vision based on strengthening friendship relations with Arab and Islamic countries, stressing the importance of having a correct understanding for the issues of the region. For his part, Berri declared that "the bombing, which occurred recently in front of the Iranian Embassy in Beirut was carried out by terrorists from al-Qaeda." The Lebanese Parliament Speaker began a visit to Iran yesterday.
