Vice-Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard cautioned against the conspiracies and plots hatched by the enemies to create rifts among Muslim nations.He made the remarks in a meeting with Speaker of Oman\'s Advisory Council Khaled bin Hilal bin Nasser Al-Mawali upon his arrival at Tehran\'s Mehrabad International Airport on Saturday.\"Enemies are after disrupting the relations among Muslims in the region,\" Aboutorabi-Fard said.The Omani parliament speaker, for his part, said that the support given by Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has played an effective role in the consolidation of ties among Muslim nations, specially the Iranians and Omanis.During the visit to Tehran, the Omani speaker is due to meet several Iranian authorities, including Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, President Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, to discuss bilateral tie and parliamentary cooperation, including the arrangement of the next meeting of the two countries\' parliamentary friendship group.Iran and Oman have expanded cooperation in a variety of areas such as economy and defense since President Ahmadinejad took office in 2005.In similar remarks in November, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) Ayatollah Mohsen Araki urged the world Muslims to keep vigilant about the divisive plots exercised by the enemies, saying the world powers want to divide powerful and big Muslim states to facilitate a practice of their colonial policies.It should be noted that colonial powers have been following their seditious policies to divide the Islamic governments into smaller, weaker and eventually aggressive nations by following the strategy of \"Divide and Rule\", Ayatollah Araki said at the time.In March 2009, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the divisive efforts of enemies of Islam and domineering superpowers as another source of discord among the Muslims, urging Muslims to keep vigilance not to be entrapped with the malicious plots.The Islamic Revolution Leader regretted that in some occasions, some Muslims or Islamic countries have played into the hand of enemies.
