Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi held a meeting Sunday with China's State Councilor Yang Jiechi and his accompanying delegation to discuss promoting cooperation.
The meeting tackled ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields along with the latest developments in Iraq and the region.
During the meeting, Abadi said that his country needs a support from the international community to fight against terrorism.
The Chinese delegation handed Abadi an invitation to visit China, praising efforts exerted by the Iraq in combating terrorism and restoring security.
