Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Abadi and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif discussed the current war against Daesh militant group that now controls swaths of Iraq and Syria, according to a press release by the Iraqi premier office.
Abadi warned of growing threats of Daesh, calling for drumming up international community's support to fight Daesh.
Zarif lauded Iraqi victories against Daesh, saying the security situation in Iraq is progressing.
He renewed Iran's support of Iraq in face of Daesh.
